Related Product Information for anti-RANBP9 antibody
This gene encodes a protein that binds RAN, a small GTP binding protein belonging to the RAS superfamily that is essential for the translocation of RNA and proteins through the nuclear pore complex. The protein encoded by this gene has also been shown to interact with several other proteins, including met proto-oncogene, homeodomain interacting protein kinase 2, androgen receptor, and cyclin-dependent kinase 11.

Uniprot Description

RANBP9: May act as an adapter protein to couple membrane receptors to intracellular signaling pathways. May be involved in signaling of ITGB2/LFA-1 and other integrins. Enhances HGF-MET signaling by recruiting Sos and activating the Ras pathway. Enhances dihydrotestosterone-induced transactivation activity of AR, as well as dexamethasone-induced transactivation activity of NR3C1, but not affect estrogen-induced transactivation. Stabilizes TP73 isoform Alpha, probably by inhibiting its ubiquitination, and increases its proapoptotic activity. Inhibits the kinase activity of DYRK1A and DYRK1B. Inhibits FMR1 binding to RNA. Belongs to the RANBP9/10 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Nuclear receptor co-regulator; Adaptor/scaffold; GAPs; GAPs, Ras

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 6p23

Cellular Component: microtubule associated complex; nucleus; cytosol

Product Notes

The RANBP9 ranbp9 (Catalog #AAA3219559) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RANBP9 Antibody - middle region reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RANBP9 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RANBP9 ranbp9 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: SHGMNIHNLA SGKGSTAHFS GFESCSNGVI SNKAHQSYCH SNKHQSSNLN. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RANBP9, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
