Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.01% sodium azide. No stabilizing proteins added.
Applicable Applications for anti-PLK1 antibody
ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF)
Application Notes
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence Microscopy.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:3000-1:12,000
Western Blot: 1:200-1:2000 (~68kD)
Immunohistochemistry: 1:200-1:1000 on kidney, liver, cancer, thyriod, and lymphocyte tissue.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa 205-214 of Human Polo Kinase I (Plk1).
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Related Product Information for anti-PLK1 antibody
Polo-like kinase 1, also known as Plk-1, serine-threonine protein kinase 13 and STPK13, may be required for cell division and have a role during G1 or S phase and is associated with the phosphorylation of cyclin B1. Phosphorylation of Plk1 occurs on Thr210 for activation. Plk1 is involved in the mitotic spindle and mitosis and is associated with the phosphorylation of cyclin B1.. Phosphorylation of Plk-1 on T210 contributes to proper mitotic progression. Plk-1 has a nuclear localization and accumulates to a maximum during the G2 and M phases, declines to a nearly undetectable level following mitosis and throughout G1 phase, and then begins to accumulate again during S phase. Plk-1 is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family and the CDC5/Polo subfamily and contains 2 POLO box domains.

Product Notes

The PLK1 (Catalog #AAA621760) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Plk1, phosphorylated (Thr210) (STPK13, Polo-like kinase 1, Serine-threonine kinase 13) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Plk1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF). Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence Microscopy. Dilution: ELISA: 1:3000-1:12,000 Western Blot: 1:200-1:2000 (~68kD) Immunohistochemistry: 1:200-1:1000 on kidney, liver, cancer, thyriod, and lymphocyte tissue. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PLK1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Plk1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
