NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
ANPB: natriuretic peptide receptor B, one of two integral membrane receptors for natriuretic peptides. Contains five functional domains: an extracellular ligand-binding domain, a single membrane-spanning region, and intracellularly a protein kinase homology domain, a helical hinge region involved in oligomerization, and a carboxyl-terminal guanylyl cyclase catalytic domain. Is the primary receptor for C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP), which upon ligand binding exhibits greatly increased guanylyl cyclase activity. 21 mutations linked to acromesomelic dysplasia (skeletal malformation). 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Protein kinase, RGC; Protein kinase, dual-specificity (receptor); EC 4.6.1.2; Kinase, protein; Membrane protein, integral; Nucleotide Metabolism - purine; Guanylyl cyclase; Lyase; Receptor, misc.; RGC group; RGC family
Cellular Component: membrane; integral to membrane; plasma membrane
Molecular Function: identical protein binding; guanylate cyclase activity; hormone binding; phosphorus-oxygen lyase activity; GTP binding; natriuretic peptide receptor activity; peptide hormone binding; transferase activity, transferring phosphorus-containing groups; lyase activity; nucleotide binding; ATP binding; protein kinase activity

Product Notes
The Npr2 npr2 (Catalog #AAA9210430) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 480-509. The Mouse Npr2 Antibody (Center) reacts with Mouse (Predicted Reactivity: Rat) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Npr2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Npr2 npr2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Npr2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
