Rabbit anti-Human NPM1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-NPM1 antibody
NPM1 Antibody (C-term)
WB~~1:1000
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Fluorescent image of A549 cell stained with NPM1 Antibody (C-term). A549 cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min), permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.1%, 10 min), then incubated with NPM1 primary antibody (1:25, 1 h at 37 degree). For secondary antibody, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) was used (1:400, 50 min at 37 degree).Cytoplasmic actin was counterstained with Alexa Fluor 555 (red) conjugated Phalloidin (7units/ml, 1 h at 37 degree).NPM1 immunoreactivity is localized to Nucleus and Nucleolus significantly.)
Western Blot (WB)
(NPM1 Antibody (C-term) western blot analysis in Hela,Jurkat cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the NPM1 antibody detected the NPM1 protein (arrow).)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(NPM1 Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of Hela cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(NPM1 Antibody (C-term) (MBS9215139)immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human colon carcinoma followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of NPM1 Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a phosphoprotein which moves between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. The gene product is thought to be involved in several processes including regulation of the ARF/p53 pathway. A number of genes are fusion partners have been characterized, in particular the anaplastic lymphoma kinase gene on chromosome 2. Mutations in this gene are associated with acute myeloid leukemia. More than a dozen pseudogenes of this gene have been identified. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.[provided by RefSeq, Nov 2009]
Uniprot Description
NPM1: a nucleolar protein associated with nucleolar ribonucleoprotein structures and that binds single-stranded nucleic acids. Is a major component of template activating factor (TAF)-III. It plays a role in controlling centrosome duplication, and may function in the assembly and/or transport of the ribosome. Two alternatively spliced isoforms have been described.

Product Notes
The NPM1 npm1 (Catalog #AAA9215139) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 198-226. The NPM1 Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NPM1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF). IF~~1:10~50 WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NPM1 npm1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NPM1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
