NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), which functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The protein is required for complex I assembly and electron transfer activity. The protein binds the signal transducers and activators of transcription 3 (STAT3) transcription factor, and can function as a tumor suppressor. The human protein purified from mitochondria migrates at approximately 16 kDa. Transcripts originating from an upstream promoter and capable of expressing a protein with a longer N-terminus have been found, but their biological validity has not been determined. Product Notes
The NDUFA13 (Catalog #AAA6386629) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NDUFA13 (NADH Dehydrogenase [Ubiquinone] 1 alpha Subcomplex Subunit 13, Cell Death Regulatory Protein GRIM-19, Complex I-B16.6, CI-B16.6, Gene Associated with Retinoic and Interferon-induced Mortality 19 Protein, GRIM-19, Gene Associated with Retinoic and reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NDUFA13 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NDUFA13 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NDUFA13, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
