Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
Application Notes
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:100
Immunogen
Synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to a region surrounding the phosphorylated Thr180/Tyr182 residues of p38 MAP kinase.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Product Notes

The MAP Kinase, p38 (Catalog #AAA628744) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MAP Kinase, p38, phosphorylated (Thr180/Tyr182) (MapK14, Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase p38 alpha, Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase 14, CRK1, CSBP1, CSBP2) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MAP Kinase, p38 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MAP Kinase, p38 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MAP Kinase, p38, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
