This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against JAK3. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control.

Target Description: JAK3 is a member of the Janus kinase (JAK) family of tyrosine kinases, which is involved in cytokine receptor-mediated intracellular signal transduction. JAK3 is predominantly expressed in immune cells and transduces a signal in response to its activation via tyrosine phosphorylation by interleukin receptors. Mutations in JAK3 are associated with autosomal SCID (severe combined immunodeficiency disease). The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the Janus kinase (JAK) family of tyrosine kinases involved in cytokine receptor-mediated intracellular signal transduction. Sequence Note: This RefSeq record was created from transcript and genomic sequence data because no single transcript was available for the full length of the gene. The extent of this transcript is supported by transcript alignments. Publication Note: This RefSeq record includes a subset of the publications that are available for this gene. NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the Janus kinase (JAK) family of tyrosine kinases involved in cytokine receptor-mediated intracellular signal transduction. It is predominantly expressed in immune cells and transduces a signal in response to its activation via tyrosine phosphorylation by interleukin receptors. Mutations in this gene are associated with autosomal SCID (severe combined immunodeficiency disease). [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

JAK3: a non-receptor tyrosine-kinase of the Jak family expressed predominantly in immune cells. Mediates signal transduction via the common gamma-chain of cytokine receptors, including IL-2, -4, -7, -9, and -15. Interacts with members of the STAT (signal transduction and activators of transcription) family. Interacts with STAM2 and SHB. Contains two protein kinase domains. Mutations that abrogate JAK3 function cause an autosomal SCID (severe combined immunodeficiency disease). Inhibitor: R017s for organ transplants. Three differentially spliced isoforms have been described.

Product Notes

The JAK3 jak3 (Catalog #AAA3211592) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The JAK3 antibody - middle region reacts with Cow, Dog, Horse, Human, Mouse, Pig, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's JAK3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the JAK3 jak3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: KLLPLDKDYY VVREPGQSPI FWYAPESLSD NIFSRQSDVW SFGVVLYELF. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "JAK3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
