Rabbit HYAL1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-HYAL1 antibody
Anti-HYAL1 Antibody
IHC: 1:50-1:200
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of HYAL1 expression in mouse liver (A), mouse lung (B) whole cell lysates.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Immunohistochemical analysis of HYAL1 staining in human stomach formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a lysosomal hyaluronidase. Hyaluronidases intracellularly degrade hyaluronan, one of the major glycosaminoglycans of the extracellular matrix. Hyaluronan is thought to be involved in cell proliferation, migration and differentiation. This enzyme is active at an acidic pH and is the major hyaluronidase in plasma. Mutations in this gene are associated with mucopolysaccharidosis type IX, or hyaluronidase deficiency. The gene is one of several related genes in a region of chromosome 3p21.3 associated with tumor suppression. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Uniprot Description
HYAL1: May have a role in promoting tumor progression. May block the TGFB1-enhanced cell growth. Defects in HYAL1 are the cause of mucopolysaccharidosis type 9 (MPS9); also called hyaluronidase deficiency. MPS9 is a lysosomal storage disease characterized by high hyaluronan (HA) concentration in the serum. The clinical features are periarticular soft tissue masses, mild short stature and acetabular erosions, and absence of neurological or visceral involvement. Belongs to the glycosyl hydrolase 56 family. 7 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The HYAL1 hyal1 (Catalog #AAA8306941) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-HYAL1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HYAL1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IHC: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HYAL1 hyal1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HYAL1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
