Related Product Information for anti-SNCG antibody
Description: SNCG a member of the synuclein family of proteins which are believed to be involved in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases. May be involved in modulating axonal architecture during development and in the adult. Plays a role in neurofilament network integrity. High levels have been identified in advanced breast carcinomas.
Function: Plays a role in neurofilament network integrity. May be involved in modulating axonal architecture during development and in the adult. In vitro, increases the susceptibility of neurofilament-H to calcium-dependent proteases (By similarity). May also function in modulating the keratin network in skin. Activates the MAPK and Elk-1 signal transduction pathway (By similarity).
Subunit Structure: May be a centrosome-associated protein. Interacts with MYOC; affects its secretion and its aggregation (By similarity).
Post-translational Modifications: Phosphorylated. Phosphorylation by GRK5 appears to occur on residues distinct from the residue phosphorylated by other kinases.
Similarity: Belongs to the synuclein family.

Product Notes

The SNCG sncg (Catalog #AAA9600195) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Gamma-synuclein Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Gamma-synuclein can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemisty (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:500-1:3000 IHC: 1:50-1:200 IF/ICC: 1:100-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SNCG sncg for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Gamma-synuclein, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
