Preparation and Storage
Storage:
Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Store at 4°C for frequent use.
Aliquot and store at -20°C for 24 months.

Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within theexpiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Uniprot Description

DGKA: Upon cell stimulation converts the second messenger diacylglycerol into phosphatidate, initiating the resynthesis of phosphatidylinositols and attenuating protein kinase C activity. Monomer. Lymphocytes and oligodendroglial cells. Stimulated by calcium and phosphatidylserine. Phosphorylated by protein kinase C. Belongs to the eukaryotic diacylglycerol kinase family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: EC 2.7.1.107; Kinase, lipid; Lipid Metabolism - glycerolipid; Lipid Metabolism - glycerophospholipid; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis

Product Notes

The DGKa dgka (Catalog #AAA2027285) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Polyclonal Antibody to Diacylglycerol Kinase Alpha (DGKa) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Diacylglycerol Kinase Alpha can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin/Paraffin, Immunoprecipitation (IP). Western blotting: 0.5-2ug/mL Immunohistochemistry: 5-20ug/mL Immunocytochemistry: 5-20ug/mL Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DGKa dgka for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Diacylglycerol Kinase Alpha, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
