Related Product Information for anti-DAPK2 antibody
This gene encodes a protein that belongs to the serine/threonine protein kinase family. This protein contains a N-terminal protein kinase domain followed by a conserved calmodulin-binding domain with significant similarity to that of death-associated protein kinase 1 (DAPK1), a positive regulator of programmed cell death. Overexpression of this gene was shown to induce cell apoptosis. It uses multiple polyadenylation sites.

Uniprot Description

DAPK2: an ubiquitously expressed protein kinase of the DAPK family. Activated by Ca(2+)/calmodulin. Contains a N-terminal protein kinase domain followed by a conserved calmodulin-binding domain. Overexpression induces apoptosis. Expressed at high levels in heart, lung and skeletal muscle.

Product Notes

The DAPK2 dapk2 (Catalog #AAA2566791) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DAPK2 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DAPK2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF). IF: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DAPK2 dapk2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DAPK2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
