Goat anti-DAPK2 Antibody
Immunohistochemistry: Immunohistochemistry: In paraffin embedded Human Breast shows staining of the luminar side of the cell membranes of epithelial cells in the ducts. Recommended concentration, 2-4ug/ml.
Western Blot: Approx 40-45kDa bands seen in mouse brain extracts. Recommended for use at 1-3ug/ml.
Western Blot (WB)
(Staining (2ug/ml) of mouse brain extracts (RIPA buffer, 35ug total protein per lane). Primary incubated for 1 hour. Detected by western blot using chemiluminescence.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
((2.5ug/ml) staining of paraffin embedded Human Breast. Steamed antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6, AP-staining.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a protein that belongs to the serine/threonine protein kinase family. This protein contains a N-terminal protein kinase domain followed by a conserved calmodulin-binding domain with significant similarity to that of death-associated protein kinase 1 (DAPK1), a positive regulator of programmed cell death. Overexpression of this gene was shown to induce cell apoptosis. It uses multiple polyadenylation sites. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
DAPK2: an ubiquitously expressed protein kinase of the DAPK family. Activated by Ca(2+)/calmodulin. Contains a N-terminal protein kinase domain followed by a conserved calmodulin-binding domain. Overexpression induces apoptosis. Expressed at high levels in heart, lung and skeletal muscle.

Product Notes
The DAPK2 dapk2 (Catalog #AAA420208) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Goat anti-DAPK2 Antibody reacts with Tested: Human, Mouse; Expected from sequence similarity: Human, Mouse, Rat, Dog, Pig and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DAPK2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Peptide ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1: 32000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DAPK2 dapk2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: KALHPRRRSS TS. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DAPK2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
