Related Product Information for anti-DACT2 antibody
Involved in regulation of intracellular signaling pathways during development. Negatively regulates the Nodal signaling pathway, possibly by promoting the lysosomal degradation of Nodal receptors, such as TGFBR1. May be involved in control of the morphogenetic behavior of kidney ureteric bud cells by keeping cells epithelial and restraining their mesenchymal character. May play an inhibitory role in the re-epithelialization of skin wounds by attenuating TGF-beta signaling (By similarity).

Uniprot Description

DACT2: Involved in regulation of intracellular signaling pathways during development. May play an inhibitory role in the re-epithelialization of skin wounds by attenuating TGF-beta signaling. Belongs to the dapper family. 4 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 6q27

Cellular Component: mitochondrion

Molecular Function: protein kinase C binding; protein kinase A binding; beta-catenin binding; transcription factor binding

Biological Process: skin development; hemopoietic progenitor cell differentiation; negative regulation of cell adhesion

Product Notes

The DACT2 dact2 (Catalog #AAA2560529) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DACT2 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DACT2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA). IHC: 1:25-1:100 ELISA: 1:5000-1:10000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DACT2 dact2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DACT2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
