Related Product Information for anti-CX3CL1 antibody
Overview: Acts as a ligand for both CX3CL1 and integrins. Binds to CX3CR1 and to integrins ITGAV:ITGB3 and ITGA4:ITGB1. Can activate integrins in both a CX3CR1-dependent and CX3CR1-independent manner. In the presence of CX3CR1, activates integrins by binding to the classical ligand-binding site (site 1) in integrins. In the absence of CX3CR1, binds to a second site (site 2) in integrins which is distinct from site 1 and enhances the binding of other integrin ligands to site 1. The soluble form is chemotactic for T-cells and monocytes, but not for neutrophils. The membrane-bound form promotes adhesion of those leukocytes to endothelial cells. May play a role in regulating leukocyte adhesion and migration processes at the endothelium (PubMed:9177350, PubMed:10382755).

Structure: Signal, Transmembrane, Transmembrane helix

Expression: Highest levels in brain. Lower levels in kidney, heart and lung. Also found in skeletal muscle and testis.

Uniprot Description

In the absence of CX3CR1, binds to a second site (site 2) in integrins which is distinct from site 1 and enhances the binding of other integrin ligands to site 1 (). Product Notes

The CX3CL1 cx3cl1 (Catalog #AAA5400376) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CX3CL1 Antibody BIOTIN reacts with Human, Monkey, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CX3CL1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB). ELISA: 1:10,000 IP: 1:150 WB: 1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CX3CL1 cx3cl1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CX3CL1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
