Related Product Information for anti-ARG1 antibody
Arginase I, a cytosolic enzyme, is highly expressed in the liver and is a component of the urea cycle (Jenkinson et al, 1996). There are two isoforms of arginase, both catalyze the conversion of arginine to ornithine and urea, but differ based on subcellular localization, tissue distribution, and enzymatic properties (Jenkinson et al, 1996). Arginase I has been identified in macrophages in response to various pathogen exposures causing an upregulation of inducible nitric oxide synthase, iNOS, yielding increased levels of nitric oxide (Morris et al, 1998) and inflammation (Poljakovic et al, 2007).

Product Notes

The ARG1 arg1 (Catalog #AAA500082) is an Antibody produced from Chicken and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Arginase I/Liver Arginase (ARG1) Antibody reacts with Guinea Pig, Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Arginase I/Liver Arginase (ARG1) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB: 1:1000 IHC: 1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ARG1 arg1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Arginase I/Liver Arginase (ARG1), Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
