Rabbit anti-Human AP1G2 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-AP1G2 antibody
AP1G2 Antibody (N-term)
vesicles transporting ligand-receptor complexes from the plasma
membrane or from the trans-Golgi network to lysosomes. The adaptin
family of proteins is compsed of four classes of molecules named
alpha, beta-, beta prime- and gamma- adaptins. Adaptins, together
with medium and small subunits, form a heterotetrameric complex
called an adaptor, whose role is to promote the formation of
clathrin-coated pits and vesicles. The protein encoded by this gene
is a gamma-adaptin protein and it belongs to the adaptor complexes
large subunits family. This protein along with the complex is
thought to function at some trafficking step in the complex
pathways between the trans-Golgi network and the cell surface.
There are two alternatively spliced transcript variants of this
gene encoding the same protein.

NCBI Description
Adaptins are important components of clathrin-coated vesicles transporting ligand-receptor complexes from the plasma membrane or from the trans-Golgi network to lysosomes. The adaptin family of proteins is compsed of four classes of molecules named alpha, beta-, beta prime- and gamma- adaptins. Adaptins, together with medium and small subunits, form a heterotetrameric complex called an adaptor, whose role is to promote the formation of clathrin-coated pits and vesicles. The protein encoded by this gene is a gamma-adaptin protein and it belongs to the adaptor complexes large subunits family. This protein along with the complex is thought to function at some trafficking step in the complex pathways between the trans-Golgi network and the cell surface. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene exist, but their full-length nature is not known. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2013]

Product Notes
The AP1G2 ap1g2 (Catalog #AAA9214909) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 1-30. The AP1G2 Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's AP1G2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AP1G2 ap1g2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "AP1G2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
