Western Blot (WB) (Figure 1. Western blot analysis of AHA1 using anti-AHA1 antibody (MBS1750903). Electrophoresis was performed on a 5-20% SDS-PAGE gel at 70V (Stacking gel) / 90V (Resolving gel) for 2-3 hours. The sample well of each lane was loaded with 50ug of sample under reducing conditions. Lane 1: rat brain tissue lysate,Lane 2: rat spleen tissue lysate,Lane 3: rat testis tissue lysate,Lane 4: human A375 cell lysate. After Electrophoresis, proteins were transferred to a Nitrocellulose membrane at 150mA for 50-90 minutes. Blocked the membrane with 5% Non-fat Milk/ TBS for 1.5 hour at RT. The membrane was incubated with rabbit anti-AHA1 antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody at 0.5ug/mL overnight at 4 degree C, then washed with TBS-0.1%Tween 3 times with 5 minutes each and probed with a goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:10000 for 1.5 hour at RT. The signal is developed using an Enhanced Chemiluminescent detection (ECL) kit with Tanon 5200 system. A specific band was detected for AHA1 at approximately 38KD. The expected band size for AHA1 is at 38KD. )

Related Product Information for anti-AHA1 antibody
Description: Activator of 90 kDa heat shock protein ATPase homolog 1 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the AHSA1 gene. The International Radiation Hybrid Mapping Consortium mapped the AHSA1 gene to chromosome 14. It acts as a co-chaperone of HSP90AA1. AHSA1 competes with the inhibitory co-chaperone FNIP1 for binding to HSP90AA1, thereby providing a reciprocal regulatory mechanism for chaperoning of client proteins
Protein Function: Acts as a co-chaperone of HSP90AA1. Activates the ATPase activity of HSP90AA1 leading to increase in its chaperone activity. Competes with the inhibitory co-chaperone FNIP1 for binding to HSP90AA1, thereby providing a reciprocal regulatory mechanism for chaperoning of client proteins (PubMed: 27353360).

Product Notes

The AHA1 ahsa1 (Catalog #AAA1750903) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-AHA1 Picoband antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat No cross reactivity with other proteins. and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's AHA1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). WB: 0.1-0.5mug/ml Direct ELISA: 0.1-0.5mug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AHA1 ahsa1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "AHA1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
