Rabbit Agrin Polyclonal Antibody | anti-AGRN antibody
Polyclonal Antibody to Agrin (AGRN)
Immunohistochemistry: 5-50ug/mL
Immunocytochemistry: 5-50ug/mL
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Store at 4 degree C for frequent use.
Aliquot and store at -20 degree C for 24 months.
Stability Test:
thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western Blot: Sample: Rat Serum; Primary Ab: 5ug/ml Rabbit Anti-Rat AGRN Antibody Second Ab: 0.2ug/mL HRP-Linked Caprine Anti-Rabbit IgG Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog: MBS2086047 ) )
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
may play a role in synapse development and regeneration [RGD, Feb 2006]
Uniprot Description
agrin: Plays a central role in the formation and the maintenance of the neuromuscular junction (NMJ), the synapse between motor neuron and skeletal muscle. Ligand of the MUSK signaling complex that directly binds LRP4 in this complex and induces the phosphorylation of MUSK, the kinase of the complex. The activation of MUSK in myotubes induces the formation of NMJ by regulating different processes including the transcription of specific genes and the clustering of AChR in the postsynaptic membrane. Defects in AGRN are a cause of myasthenia, limb-girdle, familial (LGM). A congenital myasthenic syndrome characterized by a typical 'limb girdle' pattern of muscle weakness with small, simplified neuromuscular junctions but normal acetylcholine receptor and acetylcholinesterase function.

Product Notes
The AGRN agrn (Catalog #AAA2027261) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Polyclonal Antibody to Agrin (AGRN) reacts with Rattus norvegicus (Rat) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Agrin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB); Immunohistochemistry (IHC); Immunocytochemistry (ICC);Immunoprecipitation (IP). Western blotting: 0.5-5ug/mL Immunohistochemistry: 5-50ug/mL Immunocytochemistry: 5-50ug/mL Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AGRN agrn for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Agrin, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
