Belongs to the peptidase C14A family. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

AAA Biotech's Caspase 12 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). The peptide is used for blocking the activity of the caspase-12 (lrg) antibody. It usually blocks the antibody activity completely in Western blots by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30 min at 37 degree C.
