Mouse anti-Human CD14-CD13 Antibody | anti-CD14-CD13 antibody
CD14 FITC-CD13 PE
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a surface antigen that is preferentially expressed on monocytes/macrophages. It cooperates with other proteins to mediate the innate immune response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding the same protein. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2010]
Uniprot Description
Function: In concert with LBP, binds to monomeric lipopolysaccharide and delivers it to the MD-2/TLR4 complex, thereby mediating the innate immune response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Acts via MyD88, TIRAP and TRAF6, leading to NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. Up-regulates cell surface molecules, including adhesion molecules. Ref.15
Subunit structure: Belongs to the lipopolysaccharide (LPS) receptor, a multi-protein complex containing at least CD14, MD-2 and TLR4.
Subcellular location: Cell membrane; Lipid-anchor › GPI-anchor.
Tissue specificity: Expressed strongly on the surface of monocytes and weakly on the surface of granulocytes; also expressed by most tissue macrophages.
Post-translational modification: N- and O- glycosylated. O-glycosylated with a core 1 or possibly core 8 glycan.
Sequence similarities: Contains 11 LRR (leucine-rich) repeats.

Product Notes
The CD14-CD13 cd14 (Catalog #AAA396199) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD14 FITC-CD13 PE reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD14-CD13 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD14-CD13 cd14 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD14-CD13, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
