Usage Notes
* Do not mix components from different kit lots or use reagents beyond the kit expiration date.
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2-8 degree C.

Related Product Information for TNNI2 elisa kit
Description: This Mouse Troponin I, fast skeletal muscle (TNNI2) ELISA Kit employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate TNNI2 in samples. An antibody specific for TNNI2 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any TNNI2 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for TNNI2 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of TNNI2 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Background: TNNI2 is a fast-twitch skeletal muscle protein, a member of the troponin I gene family, and a component of the troponin complex including troponin T, troponin C and troponin I subunits. The troponin complex, along with tropomyosin, is responsible for the calcium-dependent regulation of striated muscle contraction. Mouse studies show that this component is also present in vascular smooth muscle and may play a role in regulation of smooth muscle function. In addition to muscle tissues, this protein is found in corneal epithelium, cartilage where it is an inhibitor of angiogenesis to inhibit tumor growth and metastasis, and mammary gland where it functions as a co-activator of estrogen receptor-related receptor alpha. This protein also suppresses tumor growth in human ovarian carcinoma.

Product Notes

The Mouse TNNI2 tnni2 (Catalog #AAA9716710) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9716710 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse TNNI2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Troponin I, Fast Skeletal Muscle (TNNI2), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
