Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Related Product Information for AIF1 clia kit
The microplate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Allograft Inflammatory Factor 1 (AIF1). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microplate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Allograft Inflammatory Factor 1 (AIF1). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then the mixture of substrate A and B is added to generate glow light emission kinetics. Upon plate development, the intensity of the emitted light is proportional to the Allograft Inflammatory Factor 1 (AIF1) level in the sample or standard.;

Uniprot Description

AIF1: Actin-binding protein that enhances membrane ruffling and RAC activation. Enhances the actin-bundling activity of LCP1. Binds calcium. Plays a role in RAC signaling and in phagocytosis. May play a role in macrophage activation and function. Promotes the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells and of T- lymphocytes. Enhances lymphocyte migration. Plays a role in vascular inflammation. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Cytoskeletal

Cellular Component: perikaryon; actin filament; cytosol; ruffle; cell projection; cytoskeleton; membrane; perinuclear region of cytoplasm; lamellipodium; cytoplasm; plasma membrane; intracellular; nucleus; phagocytic cup

Molecular Function: actin filament binding; protein binding; metal ion binding; calcium ion binding; actin binding

Biological Process: actin filament bundle formation; positive regulation of nitric oxide biosynthetic process; negative regulation of smooth muscle cell proliferation; actin filament polymerization; positive regulation of smooth muscle cell proliferation; positive regulation of muscle hyperplasia; microglial cell activation; Rac protein signal transduction; positive regulation of T cell proliferation; positive regulation of protein amino acid phosphorylation; phagocytosis, engulfment; positive regulation of cell migration; negative regulation of apoptosis

Product Notes

The Mouse AIF1 aif1 (Catalog #AAA2001135) is a CLIA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2001135 CLIA Kit recognizes Mouse AIF1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Allograft Inflammatory Factor 1 (AIF1), CLIA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
