Related Product Information for anti-wupA antibody
Troponin I is a cardiac and skeletal muscle protein. The protein is a part of the troponin protein complex, where it binds to actin in thin myofilaments to hold the actin-tropomyosin complex in place. Because of it, myosin cannot bind actin in relaxed muscle. When calcium binds to the troponin C it causes conformational changes which lead to dislocation of troponin I and finally tropomyosin leaves the binding site for myosin on actin leading to contraction of muscle.

Product Notes

The Troponin I wupa (Catalog #AAA435442) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Troponin I Mouse mAb for Ant reacts with Ant and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Troponin I can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:1000-1:5000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Troponin I wupa for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Troponin I, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
