Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Paraffin-embedded colorectal carcinoma tissue was prepared using heat-induced epitope retrieval in citrate buffer, pH 6.0. Immunostaining was performed using a 1:500 dilution of MBS631605. Reactivity was detected using the IHC-Select Detection Kit Staining pattern appears to be restricted to the purkinje cells (granular layer junction).)

Related Product Information for anti-Slo1 antibody
Slo1 (Calcium-activated potassium channel subunit alpha-1) may not only be activated by membrane depolarization but may also be by an increase in cytosolic Ca2+. The concentration of cytosolic Mg2+ also activates this potassium channel. Found to play a part in the repolarization of the membrane potential due to the fact that it diminishes the excitatory voltage in the cell.

Product Notes

The Slo1 (Catalog #AAA631605) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Slo1 (BKCa, BKCA alpha, BK channel, BK channel alpha subunit, Kcnma1, Potassium Large Conductance Calcium-Activated Channel, subfamily M, alpha member 1) reacts with Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Slo1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC). Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml detects Slo1 on 10ug of rat brain membrane tissue lysate. Immunohistochemistry: 1:500 detects Slo1 in rat cerebellum tissue. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Slo1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Slo1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
