Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescence staining of fixed K562 cells with anti-Rhesus D antigen antibody D7C2 (MBS488641) Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed K562 cells on Shi-fix coverslips stained with the chimeric rabbit IgG version of D7C2 (MBS488641) at 10ug/ml for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2ug/ml), showing membrane staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show from left-right, top-bottom MBS488641, DAPI, merged channels and an isotype control. The isotype control was an unknown specificity antibody (MBS488140) followed by staining with Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody.)

Product Notes

The Rhesus D antigen (Catalog #AAA488640) is an Antibody produced from Human and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Rhesus D antigen [D7C2] reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Rhesus D antigen can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Antibody-Dependent Cellular Cytotoxicity (ADCC). FC confirmed the binding of D7C2 to Rh D+ red cells in artifical mixtures (Edelman et al, 1997). The ADCC of D7C2 showed a percentage of 93% lysis (Edelman et al, 1997). D7C2 has been expressed recombinantly using a baculovirus-insect cell expression system (Edelman et al, 1997). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Rhesus D antigen for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Rhesus D antigen, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
