For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Related Product Information for anti-Polyglutamylation Modification antibody
Polyglutamylation is a post-translational modification in which glutamate side chains of variable lengths are formed on the modified protein. It is evolutionarily conserved from and the most prominent substrate is tubulin, the microtubule (MT) building block. Polyglutamylation has been proposed to be involved in the functional adaptation of MTs, as it occurs within the carboxy-terminal tubulin tails that participate directly in the binding of many structural and motor MT-associated proteins. The recent identification of new substrates of polyglutamylation indicates that this post-translational modification could be a potential regulator of diverse cellular processes and involved in cell cycle and cell proliferation.

Product Notes

The Polyglutamylation Modification (Catalog #AAA6009439) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Polyglutamylation Modification can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry. (IHC). Immunocytochemistry: 1:2000 Immunohistochemistry (paraffin sections): 1:1000 Western Blot: 1:4000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Polyglutamylation Modification for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Polyglutamylation Modification, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
