Related Product Information for anti-MLKL antibody
This gene belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. The encoded protein contains a protein kinase-like domain; however, is thought to be inactive because it lacks several residues required for activity. This protein plays a critical role in tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-induced necroptosis, a programmed cell death process, via interaction with receptor-interacting protein 3 (RIP3), which is a key signaling molecule in necroptosis pathway. Inhibitor studies and knockdown of this gene inhibited TNFinduced necrosis. High levels of this protein and RIP3 are associated with inflammatory bowel disease in children. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for this gene.MLKL (Mixed Lineage Kinase Domain Like Pseudokinase) is a Protein Coding gene. Among its related pathways are Apoptosis and Autophagy and CDK-mediated phosphorylation and removal of Cdc6. GO annotations related to this gene include transferase activity, transferring phosphorus-containing groups and protein tyrosine kinase activity.

Product Notes

The MLKL mlkl (Catalog #AAA2548822) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Phospho-MLKL (Ser358) Monoclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MLKL can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry Paraffin (IHC-p). IHC: 1:100-200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MLKL mlkl for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MLKL, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
