Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P)

(MBS9230948 staining GLS2 in human kidney tissue sections by Immunohistochemistry (IHC-P - paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections). Tissue was fixed with formaldehyde and blocked with 3% BSAfor 0. 5 hour at room temperature; antigenretrieval was by heat mediation with a citrate buffer (pH6). Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/25) for 1 hours at 37°C. A undiluted biotinylated goat polyvalent antibody was used as the secondary antibody.)

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a mitochondrial phosphate-activated glutaminase that catalyzes the hydrolysis of glutamine to stoichiometric amounts of glutamate and ammonia. Originally thought to be liver-specific, this protein has been found in other tissues as well. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants that encode different isoforms. Product Notes

The GLS2 gls2 (Catalog #AAA9230948) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The GLS2 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's GLS2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Imunnohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P). WB: 1:1000-1:2000 IHC-P: ~~1:25. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GLS2 gls2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GLS2, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
