Mouse anti-Human, Mouse EZH2 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-EZH2 antibody
EZH2 antibody (mAb)(Clone AC22)
ChIP: 1-3ug per ChIP
This antibody has been published, but not validated, for Western blot. For an antibody we have tested in use in Western blotting
Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP)
(EZH2 antibody (mAb) tested by ChIP. Chromatin IP performed using the ChIP-IT Express Kit and HeLa Chromatin (1.5 x 106 cell equivalents per ChIP) using 3 ug of EZH2 antibody or the equivalent amount of IgG as a negative control. Real time, quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) was performed on DNA purified from the ChIP reaction using a primer pair specific for the Myt1 gene. Data are presented as Fold Enrichment of the ChIP antibody signal versus the negative control IgG using the ddCT method.)
Background: EZH2-(Enhancer of Zeste homolog 2, also designated Enx1 and SETDB1) is a human homolog of the Drosophila Polycomb-group protein Enhancer of Zeste protein. It contains a SET domain that catalyzes the methylation of histone H3 at lysine 27 (Histone H3 Lys27 monomethylated, dimethylated and trimethylated). Polycomb-group proteins repress gene expression by binding to chromatin and locally altering chromatin structure. EZH2, BMI-1 and Suz12 are present in the PRC2 and PRC3 protein complexes that function as mediators of epigenetic transcriptional silencing. EZH2 associates with the embryonic ectoderm development protein, the VAV1 oncoprotein, and the X-linked nuclear protein. EZH2 may play a role in the hematopoietic and central nervous systems. Deregulation of EZH2 is linked to a variety of cancers.

Product Notes
The EZH2 (Catalog #AAA388356) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The EZH2 antibody (mAb)(Clone AC22) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's EZH2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP). Applications Validated: ChIP: 1-3ug per ChIP This antibody has been published, but not validated, for Western blot. For an antibody we have tested in use in Western blotting. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EZH2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "EZH2, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
