Related Product Information for anti-Clara Cell Protein antibody
Uteroglobin, previously called CCPBP, CC10 or blastokinin, is a small secreted protein of the secretoglobin (family 1A, member 1). Uteroglobin is expressed by Clara cells, the non-ciliated, non-mucous secretory cells predominant in lung bronchioles, and by other epithelia that communicate with the external environment. Uteroglobin binds to phospholipids and to several cell types, inhibiting inflammation, migration and invasion. It has been reported to bind the lipocalin-1 receptor. The mature 70aa protein forms a disulfide-linked heterodimer of 16kD.

Product Notes

The Clara Cell Protein (Catalog #AAA600548) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Clara Cell Protein (CC16, CC10, Uteroglobin, Urinary Protein 1, Clara Cell Secretory Protein) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Clara Cell Protein can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot and ELISA. Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 8-25ug/ml usinh immersion fixed praffin-embedded sections of human lung subjected to antigen retrieval reagen-basic. Western Blot: 1ug/ml using recombinant human Uteroglobin. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Clara Cell Protein for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Clara Cell Protein, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
