Related Product Information for anti-CD61 antibody
Mouse anti Pig CD61 antibody, clone JM2E5 recognizes the porcine CD61 cell surface antigen, also known as platelet glycoprotein IIIa. CD61 is expressed by platelets and megakaryocytes, but not by other haematopoietic cells. The epitope recognized by this antibody is not sensitive to EDTA. Mouse anti Pig CD61 antibody, clone JM2E5 detects a band of approximately 85kDa in porcine platelet lysates by western blotting.

Product Notes

The CD61 (Catalog #AAA224408) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CD61 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology Frozen, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistology Paraffin*, Western Blot (WB). Flow Cytometry: Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul. Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/50; Maximum Dilution: 1/100 Immunohistology - Paraffin: Application Note: This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment methods prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer pH6.0 is recommended for this purpose. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD61 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD61, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
