Related Product Information for anti-CD137 antibody
Hamster anti Mouse CD137 antibody, clone 17B5 recognizes mouse CD137, also known as 4-1BB ligand receptor, a member of the tumour necrosis factor superfamily. CD137 is a potent costimulatory receptor for the growth and functional maturation of activated T-cells in the presence of T-cell receptor signal. It is found on activated T-cells, NK cells, monocytes and dendritic cells. Signalling through CD137 triggers T-cell expansion, cytokine production and prevention of activation-induced death of effector T-cells. CD137-mediated activation is distinct from and independent of CD28. Antibody cross-linking of CD137 on NK cells stimulates the secretion of IFN-gamma, cellular proliferation, CD25 expression and responsiveness to IL-2 and is associated with tumour activity, but not cytotoxicity. Hamster anti Mouse CD137 antibody, clone 17B5 may be used to block CD137-mediated T-cell proliferation.

Product Notes

The CD137 tnfrsf9 (Catalog #AAA219724) is an Antibody produced from Hamster and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CD137 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Functional Assays (FN). Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul. Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/25; Maximum Dilution: 1/200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD137 tnfrsf9 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD137, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
