Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Western Blot (WB)
Application Notes
ICC: 1-2ug/ml shows positive immunostaining for CAR in HeLa cells, hCAR transfected CHO cells, but not in untransfected CHO cells fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with 0.2% Triton-X.
WB: 1:500 detects CAR on 10ug of mouse small intestine lysates. Mouse small intestine lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with (HRP) goat anti-mouse and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Immunogen
Native human coxsackie virus adenovirus receptor protein.
Positive Control
Lung tissue

Product Notes

The CAR (Catalog #AAA6120710) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CAR (Coxsackie Adenovirus Receptor) (Azide and Glycerol Free) reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CAR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CAR for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CAR, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
