Related Product Information for anti-CaMKII antibody
Calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase type II delta (CaMKIId) belongs to a family of multifunctional serine/threonine kinases activated in response to increases in intracellular calcium. There are 4 CaMKII isozymes, alpha, beta, gamma, and delta, and each can yield several isoforms through alternative splicing. CaMKII isoforms assemble into homo- or heteromultimeric holoenzymes composed of 8 to 12 subunits. CaMKIId expression is ubiquitous and has been identified as the predominant CaMKII isozyme in the heart, where it is implicated in the development of cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure.

Product Notes

The CaMKII (Catalog #AAA600064) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CaMKIId (Calcium/calmodulin-dependent Protein Kinase Type II delta) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CaMKIId can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml using Human heart, liver and kidney tissue. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CaMKII for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CaMKIId, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
