Application Notes
FC: <= 1 ug/test

A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
Biological Significance
The 6C3 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse BP-1, also known as Ly-51 and 6C3 antigen. BP-1 is a 140 kDa type II transmembrane protein that is present on the surface as a disulfide-linked homodimer. This molecule is an enzyme with aminopeptidase A activity and is expressed by bone marrow stromal cells, thymic cortical epithelial cells and at early stages of mouse B cell development, on pre-B cells. The low level of BP-1 expression on pre-B cells can be upregulated in the presence of IL-7.

Biotin
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2-8 degree C. Do not freeze. Protect from light.

Product Notes

The BP1 dlx4 (Catalog #AAA834475) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's BP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). FC: <= 1 ug/test A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the BP1 dlx4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "BP1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
