Immunofluorescence (IF)
(IF image of MBS3006362 stained A549 cells. The cells were 4% paraformaldehyde fixed (20 min) and then incubated in 10% normal goat serum for 1h to permeabilise the cells and block non-specific protein-protein interactions. The cells were then incubated with the antibody beta-Actin (4D3) # MBS3006362 (1:200) at 5ug/ml overnight at +4 degree C. The secondary antibody (Red) was Goat Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) Rhodamine (TRITC) used at a 1/1000 dilution for 1h. Hoechst33342 was used to stain the cell nuclei (blue).)

Actin, a ubiquitous eukaryotic protein, is the major component of the cytoskeleton. At least six isoforms are known in mammals.
