Related Product Information for anti-ABCA1 antibody
Description: MaxLight™550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™546, 555, DyLight™549 , Cy3™, TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150,000.

The ABC transporters are a large family of conserved proteins that transport a wide variety of molecules across cellular membranes. ABCA1 is a member of the ABCA subfamily, which acts as a lipid translocator. The molecule was originally identified as a scavenger receptor on macrophages and research shows that ABCA1 also plays a major role in cholesterol metabolism. ABCA1 may play an important role in protecting against cardiovascular disease. Mutations in ABCA1 gene have been associated with Tangiers disease, a genetic disorder of lipid metabolism, and familial high density lipoprotein (HDL) deficiency.

Product Notes

The ABCA1 abca1 (Catalog #AAA6254348) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ABCA1 (ABC 1, ABC Transporter 1, ATP-binding Cassette 1, ATP-binding Cassette Transporter 1, CERP, Cholesterol Efflux Regulatory Protein, HDLDT1, TGD) (MaxLight 550) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ABCA1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC), Immunofluorescence (IF). Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunofluorescence. Not recommended for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutionsto be determined by the researcher. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ABCA1 abca1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ABCA1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
