NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The glycoprotein encoded by this gene is a cell surface antigen that is expressed in greater than 95% of human colon cancers. The open reading frame encodes a 319-amino acid polypeptide having a putative secretory signal sequence and 3 potential glycosylation sites. The predicted mature protein has a 213-amino acid extracellular region, a single transmembrane domain, and a 62-amino acid intracellular tail. The sequence of the extracellular region contains 2 domains characteristic of the CD2 subgroup of the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The GPA33 gpa33 (Catalog #AAA8105201) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Recombinant Anti-A33 Antibody, Rabbit Monoclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's A33 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P). ELISA: 1:5000-1:10,000 IHC-P: 1:100-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GPA33 gpa33 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "A33, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
