Related Product Information for GPA33 recombinant protein
The glycoprotein encoded by this gene is a cell surface antigen that is expressed in greater than 95% of human colon cancers. The open reading frame encodes a 319-amino acid polypeptide having a putative secretory signal sequence and 3 potential glycosylation sites. The predicted mature protein has a 213-amino acid extracellular region, a single transmembrane domain, and a 62-amino acid intracellular tail. The sequence of the extracellular region contains 2 domains characteristic of the CD2 subgroup of the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily.

Product Notes

The GPA33 gpa33 (Catalog #AAA188304) is a Recombinant Protein produced from HEK293 cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The amino acid sequence is listed below: GPA33 (Ile22-Val 235) + hFc (Glu99-Ala 330). It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GPA33, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
