Preparation and Storage
Storage: Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 2-8 degree C for one month. Aliquot and store at -80 degree C for 12 months.
Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the targetprotein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation andprecipitation were observed. The loss of this protein is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of the latrophilin subfamily of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCR). Latrophilins may function in both cell adhesion and signal transduction. In experiments with non-human species, endogenous proteolytic cleavage within a cysteine-rich GPS (G-protein-coupled-receptor proteolysis site) domain resulted in two subunits (a large extracellular N-terminal cell adhesion subunit and a subunit with substantial similarity to the secretin/calcitonin family of GPCRs) being non-covalently bound at the cell membrane. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes

The LPHN3 lphn3 (Catalog #AAA2030203) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Host: E Coli Source: Prokaryotic expression and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Latrophilin 3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunoprecipitation (IP). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LPHN3 lphn3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: The target protein is fused with two N-terminal Tags, His-tag and T7-tag, its sequence is listed below.

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Latrophilin 3, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
