Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for LILRA3 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any LILRA3 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for LILRA3 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of LILRA3 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of a family of immunoreceptors that are expressed predominantly in monocytes and B cells, and at lower levels in dendritic cells and natural killer cells. The encoded protein lacks the transmembrane region found in other members of this family. It acts as a soluble receptor for class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC) antigens. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found. This gene is located in a cluster of related genes on chromosome 19 and is polymorphic in human populations, with many individuals containing a deletion of this genomic region. Product Notes

The Human LILRA3 lilra3 (Catalog #AAA938248) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA938248 ELISA Kit recognizes Human LILRA3. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor, subfamily A (without TM domain) , member 3, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
