Reconstitution
A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.
Preparation and Storage
The lyophilized protein is stable for at least one year from date of receipt at -70 degree C. Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored in working aliquots at 2 degree -8 degree C for one month, or at -20 degree C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Related Product Information for IL33 recombinant protein
Recombinant Human IL33 was expressed in E Coli cells. The protein accession number is O95760
IL-33, a member of the IL-1 family, signals via a heterodimeric receptor complex consisting of ST2 and IL-1R accessory protein and triggers the activation of NF-B and all three MAPKs: p38, ERK1/2, and JNK1/2 in mast cells. IL-33 is expressed in multiple tissues and by several cell types such as dermal fibroblasts and small airway epithelial and bronchial smooth muscle cells. IL-33 activated IL-1-like signaling responses in mast cells and enhanced IL-5 and IL-13 production from murine Th2-polarized splenocytes. Moreover, it was found that both human and murine mast cells when stimulated in vitro with IL-33 produced a wide spectrum of cytokines and chemokines. In addition, IL-33 enhanced IL-4-driven Th2 cell responses and acted as a selective chemoattractant for Th2 cell recruitment.

NCBI Description

IL33 (MIM 608678) is a member of the IL1 (see MIM 147760) family that potently drives production of T helper-2 (Th2)-associated cytokines (e.g., IL4; MIM 147780). IL33 is a ligand for IL33R (IL1RL1; MIM 601203), an IL1 family receptor that is selectively expressed on Th2 cells and mast cells (summary by Yagami et al., 2010 [PubMed 20926795]).[supplied by OMIM, Jan 2011]

Uniprot Description

IL33: Cytokine that binds to and signals through IL1RL1/ST2 and its stimulation recruits MYD88, IRAK1, IRAK4, and TRAF6, followed by phosphorylation of MAPK3/ERK1 and/or MAPK1/ERK2, MAPK14, and MAPK8. Induces T-helper type 2-associated cytokines. Belongs to the IL-1 family. Highly divergent. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Cytokine

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 9p24.1

Cellular Component: extracellular space; transport vesicle; chromosome; nucleus

Molecular Function: protein binding; cytokine activity

Biological Process: negative regulation of T-helper 1 type immune response; T-helper 2 type immune response; positive regulation of T-helper 2 type immune response; transcription, DNA-dependent; positive regulation of interleukin-6 production; positive regulation of immunoglobulin secretion; negative regulation of leukocyte migration; positive regulation of interleukin-4 production; negative regulation of immunoglobulin secretion; positive regulation of proteasomal ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process; negative regulation of interferon-gamma production; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; positive regulation of interleukin-13 production; positive regulation of interleukin-5 production; positive regulation of inflammatory response; positive regulation of macrophage activation

Product Notes

The IL33 il33 (Catalog #AAA517124) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's IL33 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Cell Assay. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL33 il33 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IL33, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
