Related Product Information for IL18 recombinant protein
Background: Interleukin 18 (IL-18), previously known as interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma)-inducing factor, is an activator of NK cells and a co-inducer of Th1 cytokines. IL-18 is produced from Kupffer cells, activated macrophages, keratinocytes, intestinal epithelial cells, osteoblasts, adrenal cortex cells and murine diencephalon. IL-18 was expressed in E.coli and purified by conventional chromatography, after refolding of the isolated inclusion bodies in a renaturation buffer.

Product Notes

The IL18 il18 (Catalog #AAA844907) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's IL18 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL18 il18 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MNFGRLHCTT AVIRNINDQV LFVDKRQPVF EDMTDIDQSA SEPQTRLIIY MYKDSEVRGL AVTLSVKDSK MSTLSCKNKI ISFEEMDPPE NIDDIQSDLI FFQKRVPGHN KMEFESSLYE GHFLACQKED DAFKLILKKK DENGDKSVMF TLTNLHQS. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IL18, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
