Preparation and Storage
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 2-8 degree C for one month. Aliquot and store at -80 degree C for 12 months.
Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the targetprotein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation andprecipitation were observed. (Referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calculated by the Arrhenius equation.) The loss of this protein is lessthan 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Uniprot Description

IL15: Cytokine that stimulates the proliferation of T- lymphocytes. Stimulation by IL-15 requires interaction of IL-15 with components of IL-2R, including IL-2R beta and probably IL-2R gamma but not IL-2R alpha. Belongs to the IL-15/IL-21 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Secreted, signal peptide; Cell cycle regulation; Secreted; Cytokine

Cellular Component: nucleoplasm; extracellular space; cell surface; cytoplasm; extracellular region

Molecular Function: hematopoietin/interferon-class (D200-domain) cytokine receptor binding; cytokine activity

Biological Process: positive regulation of interleukin-17 production; positive regulation of immune response; NK T cell proliferation; positive regulation of natural killer cell proliferation; negative regulation of smooth muscle cell proliferation; cell maturation; signal transduction; lymph node development; positive regulation of tyrosine phosphorylation of Stat3 protein; positive regulation of natural killer cell differentiation; extrathymic T cell selection; natural killer cell differentiation; positive regulation of cell proliferation; positive regulation of T cell proliferation; regulation of T cell differentiation; immune response; regulation of defense response to virus by host; hyaluronan metabolic process

Product Notes

The IL15 il15 (Catalog #AAA2009546) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Interleukin 15 (IL15) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunoprecipitation (IP). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL15 il15 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: The target protein is fused with a N-terminal His-tag, its sequence is listed below. MGHHHHHHSG SEF-NW IDVRYDLEKI ESLIQSIHID TTLYTDSDFH PSCKVTAMNC FLLELQVILH EYSNMTLNET VRNVLYLANS TLSSNKNVAE SGCKECEELE EKTFTEFLQS FIRIVQMFIN TS. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Interleukin 15 (IL15), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
