Related Product Information for TLR10 elisa kit
Intended Uses: This sandwich kit is for the accurate quantitative detection of human Toll-like Receptor 10 (also known as TLR10) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, cell lysates, tissue homogenates.

Principles of the Assay: This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with human TLR10 antibody. TLR10 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated human TLR10 Antibody is added and binds to TLR10 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated TLR10 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of human TLR10. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family which plays a fundamental role in pathogen recognition and activation of innate immunity. TLRs are highly conserved from Drosophila to humans and share structural and functional similarities. They recognize pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) that are expressed on infectious agents, and mediate the production of cytokines necessary for the development of effective immunity. The various TLRs exhibit different patterns of expression. This gene is most highly expressed in lymphoid tissues such as spleen, lymph node, thymus, and tonsil. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants which encode different protein isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2010]

Uniprot Description

Participates in the innate immune response to microbial agents. Acts via MYD88 and TRAF6, leading to NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response ().

Product Notes

The Human TLR10 tlr10 (Catalog #AAA165150) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA165150 ELISA Kit recognizes Human TLR10. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Toll-like receptor 10, TLR10, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
