Human Purinergic Receptor P2X, Ligand Gated Ion Channel 7 (P2RX7) ELISA Kit | P2RX7 elisa kit
Human Purinergic Receptor P2X, Ligand Gated Ion Channel 7 (P2RX7) ELISA Kit
No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Purinergic Receptor P2X, Ligand Gated Ion Channel 7 (P2RX7) and analogues was observed.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The product of this gene belongs to the family of purinoceptors for ATP. This receptor functions as a ligand-gated ion channel and is responsible for ATP-dependent lysis of macrophages through the formation of membrane pores permeable to large molecules. Activation of this nuclear receptor by ATP in the cytoplasm may be a mechanism by which cellular activity can be coupled to changes in gene expression. Multiple alternatively spliced variants have been identified, most of which fit nonsense-mediated decay (NMD) criteria. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2010]
Uniprot Description
P2X7: a receptor for ATP that acts as a ligand-gated ion channel. Responsible for ATP-dependent lysis by macrophages through the formation of membrane pores permeable to large molecules. Activation of this nuclear receptor by ATP in the cytoplasm may be a mechanism by which cellular activity can be coupled to changes in gene expression. Alternatively spliced variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. Could function in both fast synaptic transmission and the ATP-mediated lysis of antigen-presenting cells. Phosphorylation results in its inactivation.

Product Notes
The Human P2RX7 p2rx7 (Catalog #AAA2022553) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2022553 ELISA Kit recognizes Human P2RX7. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Purinergic Receptor P2X, Ligand Gated Ion Channel 7 (P2RX7), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
