Usage Notes
* Do not mix components from different kit lots or use reagents beyond the kit expiration date.
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2-8 degree C.

Related Product Information for LPHN3 elisa kit
Description: This Human Latrophilin-3 (LPHN3) ELISA Kit employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate LPHN3 in samples. An antibody specific for LPHN3 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any LPHN3 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for LPHN3 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of LPHN3 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Background: Latrophilin-3 is a member of the latrophilin subfamily of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCR). Latrophilins may function in both cell adhesion and signal transduction. In experiments with non-human species, endogenous proteolytic cleavage within a cysteine-rich GPS (G-protein-coupled-receptor proteolysis site) domain resulted in two subunits (a large extracellular N-terminal cell adhesion subunit and a subunit with substantial similarity to the secretin/calcitonin family of GPCRs) being non-covalently bound at the cell membrane. Latrophilin 3forms a heterodimer, consisting of a large extracellular region (p120) non-covalently linked to a seven-transmembrane moiety (p85)

Product Notes

The Human LPHN3 lphn3 (Catalog #AAA9715453) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9715453 ELISA Kit recognizes Human LPHN3. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Latrophilin-3 (LPHN3), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
