Human Interleukin-36 gamma (IL1F9) ELISA Kit | IL1F9 elisa kit
Human Interleukin-36 gamma (IL1F9) ELISA Kit
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Background: IL1F9 encoded by this gene is a member of the interleukin 1 cytokine family. The activity of this cytokine is mediated by interleukin 1 receptor-like 2, and is specifically inhibited by interleukin 1 family, member 5. Interferon-gamma, tumor necrosis factor-alpha and interleukin 1, beta (IL1B) are reported to stimulate the expression of this cytokine in keratinocytes. The expression of this cytokine in keratinocytes can also be induced by a contact hypersensitivity reaction or herpes simplex virus infection. This gene and eight other interleukin 1 family genes form a cytokine gene cluster on chromosome 2.Highly expressed in tissues containing epithelial cells: skin, lung, stomach and esophagus. In skin is expressed only in keratinocytes but not in fibroblasts, endothelial cells or melanocytes. Up-regulated in lesional psoriasis skin.

NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the interleukin 1 cytokine family. The activity of this cytokine is mediated by interleukin 1 receptor-like 2 (IL1RL2/IL1R-rp2), and is specifically inhibited by interleukin 1 family, member 5 (IL1F5/IL-1 delta). This gene and eight other interleukin 1 family genes form a cytokine gene cluster on chromosome 2. [provided by RefSeq, May 2019]
Uniprot Description
Il1f9: Function as an agonist of NF-kappa B activation through the orphan IL-1-receptor-related protein 2. Could constitute part of an independent signaling system analogous to interleukin-1 alpha (IL-1A), beta (IL-1B) receptor agonist and interleukin-1 receptor type I (IL-1R1), that is present in epithelial barriers and takes part in local inflammatory response. Belongs to the IL-1 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Cytokine
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 2q12-q21
Cellular Component: extracellular space
Molecular Function: interleukin-1 receptor binding; cytokine activity
Biological Process: cell-cell signaling; cytokine and chemokine mediated signaling pathway; positive regulation of interleukin-6 production; innate immune response; negative regulation of myoblast differentiation; inflammatory response

Product Notes
The Human IL1F9 il36g (Catalog #AAA9715906) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9715906 ELISA Kit recognizes Human IL1F9. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Interleukin-36 gamma (IL1F9), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
