Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level ENTPD1 were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level ENTPD1 were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. CV(%) = SD/meanX100. Inter-Assay: CV<12%
Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Related Product Information for ENTPD1 elisa kit
Intended Uses: The kit is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of ENTPD1 in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: The microplate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to ENTPD1. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microplate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to ENTPD1. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain ENTPD1, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm +/- 10nm. The concentration of ENTPD1 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

has apyrase activity; may inactivate signaling mediated by extracellular nucleotides [RGD, Feb 2006]

Uniprot Description

ENTPD1: In the nervous system, could hydrolyze ATP and other nucleotides to regulate purinergic neurotransmission. Could also be implicated in the prevention of platelet aggregation by hydrolyzing platelet-activating ADP to AMP. Hydrolyzes ATP and ADP equally well. Belongs to the GDA1/CD39 NTPase family. 5 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Nucleotide Metabolism - purine; Membrane protein, multi-pass; Nucleotide Metabolism - pyrimidine; EC 3.6.1.5; Extracellular matrix; Membrane protein, integral; Hydrolase

Cellular Component: extracellular space; synaptic vesicle; neuron projection; cell surface; cell soma; membrane; basolateral plasma membrane; postsynaptic density; integral to membrane; basal lamina

Molecular Function: identical protein binding; hydrolase activity; nucleoside-diphosphatase activity; ATPase activity; nucleoside-triphosphatase activity; ATP binding; adenosine-diphosphatase activity

Product Notes

The Human ENTPD1 entpd1 (Catalog #AAA2024743) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2024743 ELISA Kit recognizes Human ENTPD1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Ectonucleoside Triphosphate Diphosphohydrolase 1 (ENTPD1), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
