Related Product Information for ENTPD1 elisa kit
Principle of the Assay||This kit was based on sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. anti-Human ENTPD1 antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. And the biotin conjugated anti-Human ENTPD1 antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and wash with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the Human ENTPD1 amount of sample captured in plate. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader, and then the concentration of Human ENTPD1 can be calculated.

NCBI Description

has apyrase activity; may inactivate signaling mediated by extracellular nucleotides [RGD, Feb 2006]

Uniprot Description

ENTPD1: an ectonucleotidase that, like CD73, hydrolyzes immunostimulatory ATP, and ADP, to immunosuppressive AMP. May inhibit host immune responses against cancer. Expressed at high levels in malignant epithelial cells of human rectal adenocarcinoma. A prognostic marker of chronic lymphocytic leukemia that may identify patients with an unfavorable clinical outcome. Synergizes with CD161 to modulate Th17 responses in Crohn's disease. It may hydrolyze ATP and other nucleotides in the nervous system to regulate purinergic neurotransmission in the nervous system. May be implicated in inhibiting platelet aggregation by hydrolyzing platelet-activating ADP to AMP. Hydrolyzes ATP and ADP equally well. Belongs to the GDA1/CD39 NTPase family. 5 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Nucleotide Metabolism - pyrimidine; Nucleotide Metabolism - purine; Extracellular matrix; EC 3.6.1.5; Hydrolase; Membrane protein, multi-pass; Membrane protein, integral

Cellular Component: basal lamina; basolateral plasma membrane; cell soma; cell surface; extracellular space; integral to membrane; membrane; neuron projection; postsynaptic density; synaptic vesicle

Molecular Function: adenosine-diphosphatase activity; ATP binding; ATPase activity; hydrolase activity; identical protein binding; nucleoside-diphosphatase activity; nucleoside-triphosphatase activity

Biological Process: G-protein coupled receptor protein signaling pathway; negative regulation of dopamine secretion; platelet activation; protein homooligomerization; purine ribonucleoside diphosphate catabolic process; response to ATP; response to caffeine; response to gamma radiation; response to lipopolysaccharide; response to morphine; response to proline

Product Notes

The Human ENTPD1 entpd1 (Catalog #AAA765698) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA765698 ELISA Kit recognizes Human ENTPD1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase 1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
